For fun the other day I walked into Sams’ Club and said where are the CinemaScope sets. I don’t think they can do that they said! “Why not?” I said, “They can do every thing else!” Little did they know, little did I know about Cinema 21:9 LCD TV by Philips.

It’s about time we got serious treatment of widescreen not 16;9 commercial crap. I have never forgotten the first time I saw CinemaScope at the age of 14, the best theartre experience I have ever had. Thanks Philips

This is the product I always dreamed would end up in the mainstream of private ownership! As an independent animator my cinemascope feature can now be seen as it was truly intended without ever making it to the commercial cinema.

This may well initiate a huge comeback in cinemascope production in film and television and I’m going to be right there when it happens.
